MINING CASE STUDY
In 2009, a 44-ton Tonner Tower was transported from East Porcupine to Kidd Creek, Ontario.
It took the team at Anderson Haulage 4 hours to travel 8 km.
The equipment used to haul the load was the 12 axle vessel deck. Built with the 3 axle jeep, 6 axle dolly and 3 axle tractor.
By taking advantage of the vessel deck, the low deck height provided a clearance under 20 feet allowing more accessibility under bridges.
Police escorted the load and three permits were required to transport the tower.
